With no more than ten students, there is space to participate, work with different classmates and receive guidance from your teacher.
Support between classes.
Google Classroom gives you access to supporting materials, homework and useful links, helping you review what you have covered and stay connected with your course between lessons.

How to join a course at El Patio.
Our courses run in eight-week terms with enrolment opening several weeks before each new term. We’ll guide you through the right route and provide the full course details before you make any payment.

Enrolment opens
Current students are given a priority renewal period. Remaining places are then opened to new students.

Follow the right route
Complete beginners can contact us directly. If you have studied Spanish before, we’ll first need to assess your level.

Receive a course offer
If a suitable place is available, we’ll send you the level, dates, time, format, fee and payment deadline.

Confirm your place
Pay the full course fee by the stated deadline. Your place is confirmed when you receive written confirmation from El Patio.

Sending an enquiry or completing an assessment does not reserve a place. Your booking is confirmed only after you receive a course offer, pay in full by the stated deadline and receive written confirmation from El Patio.

A few practical things to know.
Course materials.
Classes use a recommended course book, purchased separately. Your teacher will tell you which book you need in your first class. Google Classroom is used to share lesson information, homework and selected supporting materials.
Course placement.
If you have studied Spanish before, the Level and Speaking Assessments help us find the right group.
If another group later seems a better academic fit, a change may be considered, subject to availability.
If you miss a class.
You cannot attend another group to make up a missed class and classes are not recorded.
You can review materials shared in Google Classroom but missed classes are not refundable or credited.
Payment and cancellations.
Full payment is required to confirm your place. Because places are reserved for the complete course, refunds are not normally available when personal circumstances change. Please read the full Terms & Conditions before enrolling.
