BEFORE YOU JOIN.
A few things to know before you start.
I've you've studied Spanish before, start with our Level Assessment. You'll complete a written test and then book a short Speaking Assessment so we can help you find a suitable group. If you're starting from scratch, you can follow our Beginner route.
Sometimes, yes. Late enrolment depends on available places and whether our teaching team feels you can join the group comfortably. Get in touch and we'll look at your options.
We recommend having the course book, but it's not compulsory. Books aren't included in the course fee, and our teacher will let you know which one your group uses. You'll also have access to learning materials through Google Classroom.
Yes. All our Spanish courses are for adults aged 18 and over. We don't offer classes for children or teenagers.
DURING YOUR COURSE.
What happens along the way?
If you miss a class, you can catch up using the materials and resources shared on Google Classroom. Unfortunately, missed classes can't be made up by attending another group, even at the same level.
If your Spanish level isn't quite right, our teaching team can help you move to a more suitable group, subject to availability. Changes to your class time can be requested before the course starts. Once the course has begun, timetable changes are only considered in exceptional circumstances and subject to availability..
Google Classroom is where your teachers share learning materials, activities and extra resources to support your lessons. All our groups use it, and you'll receive instructions on how to access it before your course starts.
Not necessarily! At El Patio, our teachers normally rotate every two weeks, so you'll have the opportunity to learn with different members of our team. They all follow the same learning programme to ensure continuity throughout your course.

No. Our course prices are fixed and we don't offer discounts. You can find the current fees in our Spanish Courses page.
Our courses are designed as eight week programmes, and we normally recommend attending the full course. In exceptional circumstances, we may consider half course enrolment as stated in our Terms & Conditions, subject to availability and approval by El Patio. Please get in touch to discuss your situation.
